Information For Family Members and Visitors
Admission
Local mental health centers refer patients to Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare by determining whether someone meets criteria for admission. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide service for direct admission or "walk-ins." Please contact your local mental health center for assistance.
Family and Visitors
Family and friends are welcomed to visit their loved ones but may not bring any item that may be harmful to patients or others. This includes, but is not limited to: any weapon (firearm, knife, pepper spray, stun gun), alcoholic beverages, illicit substances (marijuana, LSD, PCP, cocaine, heroin, mushrooms, amphetamines), tobacco products (snuff, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, cigars), lighters and matches of any type.
Visiting Hours - Cleveland Campus
Monday through Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday and holidays, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Visiting Hours - Northfield Campus
Daily, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare is a non-smoking facility. Patients, visitors and staff may not smoke on the campus grounds or in any of the buildings.
