Outcomes Instruments - International Versions

Key consumer-oriented materials have been translated into other languages, including the outcomes instruments. The translations currently available are for people who are Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Russian, Somali and Vietnamese.

A note about the methodology: each document was translated by one person and then reviewed and/or re-translated by an independent translator to verfiy validity of the translation. Even so, there may be mistakes or variations in interpretation that may affect the tone or meaning of the translation. In addition, we acknowledge that there are regional and idiomatic variations in every language, and it is not feasible to represent all these variations in any one or even several versions. We have, however, tried to represent at least some of the significant variations in the Spanish language by including both a Mexican and a Puerto Rican version, which seem to be the most common in Ohio.
